GAC-type cartridges are designed such that water flows from bottom to top, ensuring long contact time, allowing for maximum adsorption and treatment. Utilizing a highly efficient longitudinal flow for greater carbon contact time, FCCBHD10BB is ideal where a long contact time allows for high chlorine as well as other organic reductions. Using a clean, water-washed NSF approved coconut shell activated carbon with a large mesh size, this granular range is primarily a chlorine, taste and odour reduction cartridge with the advantage of a post-filter pad to prevent carbon from being washed out and to avoid blockage if high particulate is present. According to internal laboratory studies cartridge removes 99% of free chlorine, 85% of certain pesticides, solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, fenol, benzen and other organic compounds.

Specifications

Media: FDA and NSF

approved Coconut Shell GAC

Filter Life : 6 -12 months

Size : 10” x 4 1/2”

Operating Pressure: 6 bar

Min. feedwater temp. 2°C

Max. feedwater temp. 55°C

Contaminant Removal: Chlorine, VOC's

End caps: PP

Gasket: Silicone

Body: HDPE

Post-filter: PP

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0247/9531/6278/files/aquafilter-fccbhd10bb-10-big-blue-gac-coconut-shell-activated-carbon-cartridge-af-fccbhd10bb-4794661.webp?v=1757079405
