The FIAP Auger Feeder screw-style feeders are used throughout the world in commercial aquaculture facilities. The FIAP Auger Feeder is very well-built, durable and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Designed for highly accurate dispensing of feed, they feature a rheostat that can be set for both speed and duration. FIAP Auger Feeder includes a spreader plate with a rheostat adjustment for distance (to 8') and weighs 8 lbs. FA-1584 weighs 5 lbs. Screw feeders are 12V and draw approximately .5 A. A power supply and time controller are needed but not included.
These feeders require the FIAP proficontrol controller and applicable length connection cables. Each controller can operate up to 4 FIAP feeders.

The float chamber houses the micro-switch arrangement, totally sealed within a polypropylene casing, with a single pole double throw action. The three-cored cable, connected to the micro-switch assembly inside the float chamber, is sheathed in CPE (chlorinated polyethylene) synthetic rubber. This cable is supplied in three standard lengths, 5metres, 10metres and 20metres ±5% of the length quoted. 3. The optional stabilizing weight may be fixed at any point on the cable using the rubber O-ring supplied. The weight is sealed within a moulded polypropylene housing.
