Calcium and magnesium are often called "hardness minerals". In extreme cases large amounts of calcium and magnesium can lead to glass etching. Aquafilter offers AISTRO In-line Softener cartridge (AISTRO, AISTRO-L-AQ and AISTRO-QC) suitable for POU (Point of Use) installations.
