The Wedeco - 6101276 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a four pin single end bulb that has wattage of 320 Watts. The ceramic germicidal lamp bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the bulb for better system performance.
With an amalgam four pin single end base, the germicidal water treatment bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and water purifiers. The UVC light technology is believed to sanitize and kill over 99.99% germs in the water and is most effective against bacteria, molds, virus, protozoa and yeast.
Researchers are of the opinion that UV water purification provides a safe solution as this method of sterilization is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, chemistry or taste of water.
