With our partner OxyGuard, we have been providing static remote monitoring for many years, using the OxyGuard 840 for measuring Dissolved Oxygen (DO) level and OxyGuard pH Manta for pH.

Dissolved Oxygen

Being able to act on accurate measurements of Dissolved Oxygen in activated sludge plants will enable you to maintain the level of bacterial activity, avoid breaches in discharge consents and operate as cost effectively as possible. Too little dissolved oxygen can lead to bacterial inactivity and ineffective treatment, whilst too much wastes energy and money, causing unnecessary wear and tear to the aeration system.

GroAqua’s OxyGuard sensors accurately measure dissolved easily, are highly reliable, and user friendly as well as easy to install and maintain. OxyGuard’s probes benefit from the self-cleaning action of the pioneer probe holder and the fouling tolerance of the probes.

For many years, the OxyGuard 840 Transmitter has been the mainstay of wastewater monitoring. The 840 Transmitter has been superseded by the OxyGuard Marlin and can be a direct replacement / upgrade to the OxyGuard 840 Transmitter, powered by 24v or through power over ethernet (POE).

pH is a key parameter to monitor in tandem with dissolved oxygen, both for the ensuring optimal conditions for the breakdown of organic matter, but also for ensuring that output is not highly acidic or alkaline, which be damaging and corrode pipes, tanks and other system components.

We offer static pH monitoring through the OxyGuard Marlin as a single probe monitor and through the OxyGuard Pacific for multiple probes and parameters. Both the Marlin & Pacific can be connected through SCADA & Modbus.

Portable Products
The OxyGuard Handy Polaris C range offers a rugged, waterproof and cost-effective portable unit for dissolved oxygen concentrations and temperature. Spot measurements or online verification with the built in datalogger, with data stores on the handheld or accessed through the Cobalia cloud software.
