Aquafilter HHBB10A Big Blue filter housing to meet all customer large-capacity filtration needs. The systems are dedicated for high flow, cold water on commercial and industrial applications. The housing are compatible with a broad range of 4 1/2” x 10" type cartridges widely available on the market .Filter housings consist of housing sump and filter head with 1" brass inlet/outlet inserts. Filter heads are equipped with a pressure relief valve (providing ability to release air bubbles collected during cartridge replacement procedure) and two pressure gauges (providing pressure drop monitoring). This configuration enables the measurement of the pressure drop at the inlet and outlet connections. Utilizing a highly efficient longitudinal flow for greater carbon contact time, FCCBKDF20BB is ideal where a long contact time allows for high chlorine as well as other organic reductions. Cartridges are filled with water-washed coconut shell activated carbon, KDF-55 and non-woven polypropylene layers. Each layer plays an important role in potable water purification. Coconut shell activated carbon used in filter cartridges removes chlorine, solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons (improves the taste and odor) and compounds, phenol, benzene, and organic substances from water. KDF, utilizing redox reactions, kills or inhibits bacteria growth, converts chlorine to chlorides and removes iron, hydrogen sulfide and heavy metals (lead, arsenic, etc.). Used in combination with Activated Carbon, KDF can significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. Aquafilter offers HHBB20A 2-Stage Whole House Big Blue® filtration System suitable for POE (Point of use) installations. HHBB20A housings are compatible with a broad range of cartridge types available on the market. Additionally, pressure drop can be monitored through the two pressure gauges located in the inlet and outlet positions of the system besides the microbial protection conferred by blue colored-housings in sunny locations. Equipped with pressure relief valves and a rounded bottom which increases stress resistance, HHBB20A ensures a continuous supply of fresh and clean drinking water.

FHPRN34-B1-AQ housings are compatible with a broad range of 2 1/2" x 10" type cartridges widely available on the market. FHPRN34-B1-AQ filter housing consist of a blue sump and head with 3/4” inlet/outlet brass inserts and two O-rings (one placed around sump thread and the other inside filter head).
Heads are equipped with a pressure relief valve (providing ability to release air pressure collected during cartridge replacement procedure). Utilization of two O-rings ensures maximum leak-proof performance.
