The SPECTRUM Ion-X high purity colour change DI cartridge has been designed specifically to provide demineralised water for applications requiring high purity water for washing, rinsing and testing purposes with resistivity in excess of 10 megohm.

As the cartridge will visually change colour over the course of its life to indicate exhaustion, it is ideal for applications that have been designed without flow meters. To ensure a constant supply of high purity water, two cartridges can be used in conjunction where the first is put into the ‘roughing position’ and the second into the ‘polishing position’. This ensures complete utilization of all the exchange capacity thereby lowering operating costs while increasing average quality.
