TruDepth Standard spun cartridges from SPECTRUM are one of 4 cartridges available in the TruDepth range, alongside the Economic, Premier and High Efficiency cartridges. Each a different grade to match the wide variety of liquid applications where a broad range of particles are to be removed. Each grade is manufactured from only FDA compliant polypropylene with no binders, resins or glues ensuring no leeching into the liquid stream. All cartridges in the TruDepth range use melt-blown technology to form their 3D micropore matrices with different fine fibres used to create a strong structure with coarser filtration on the surface and finer filtration on the inner. This gradual reduction in size allows the cartridges to be used where a wide band of pollutant sizes exist. Contaminants such as particles, dirt, debris and rust are removed by the TruDepth range to provide efficient filtration and excellent service life. The variants in construction are reflected in each of the range’s performance. The finer fibres and deep grooves used in the Premier range for instance offer benefits in maximising the filtration surface area which increases the flow rate and lowers the pressure drop across the cartridge as well as maximising the dirt-holding capability and extending the service life. The Premier range also benefits from offering end-cap and seal options.Choosing the cartridge grade that is fit for the purpose is dependent upon the individual application requirements of temperature, pressure, band of particle size to be removed, requirements of housing to accept specific end-caps, approvals, sizes, lengths and micron ratings.Key Product Features

The performance of conductivity probes are affected by use due to residue build up and aging. M10031B is a lab grade 1413 µS/cm conductivity solution standard prepared against a NIST traceable potassium chloride solution that allows you to recalibrate your conductivity meter or tester. Check your meter or tester's manual to find the correct calibration standard for your meter. Conductivity readings are effected by temperature. To help with this, a chart of the actual µS/cm value at various temperatures is printed on each sachet. Milwaukee conductivity solutions are labeled with the lot number and expiration date and packaged in an air tight, tamper-proof sachet. Design Features Fundamental for accurate conductivity measurement. Factory calibrated with potassium chloride NIST 2202 SRM (Standard Reference Material) in deionized water for analytical use in accordance with ISO 3696/BS3978. Sealed against light and air. Ideal for on-the-spot calibration Simply open, insert the tester or electrode into the sachet and calibrate Each 20 mL sachet is marked with lot number and expiration date. A temperature chart of the actual µS/cm value at various temperatures is printed on each sachet. 5 year expiry date.
Bag filters are used to remove sediment, debris and gelatinous particles from liquids in higher flow or viscosity applications.Utilising a traditional single layer manufacturing method, the SPECTRUM Economic range offers the greatest option in terms of filtration media and neck seal type, providing a suitable solution for most bulk solid removal applications.Due to an all welded seam construction, Economic bags are capable of holding several kg’s in weight whilst maintaining filter integrity and their heavy duty handles make changeouts simple, avoiding operator contact with the unwanted filtrate. Each bag is manufactured from lot controlled raw media, individually labelled and finished with a total glazing process to inhibit fibre release.Features & Benefits
All sizes, micron ratings and neck ring options are available
Each bag includes a handle for fast, easy and cleaner removal
Seams on Polypropylene and Polyester felt bags are welded to prevent bypass
Materials of construction
Filter Media: Polypropylene, Polyester, Nylon
Neck Ring: Polypropylene
Construction: Thermal Bond (Nylon is sewn)
Construction notes
Economic felt bags are of welded construction, where the bag fabric is fused together to create a strong seal, reducing the possibility of loose, fibrous edges migrating downstream
Economic nylon mesh bags are heavy-duty double stitched
Certification
WRAS approved product
BS6920 compliant materials

Where long life, high purity and low change-outs are required, the Purtrex range meets the requirements of most non-critical applications or as an economic pre-filter.The patented construction of this pure polypropylene, surfactant-free depth filter ensures low pressure drops, with exceptional dirt holding capabilities in standard as well as large diameter options, making it the next generation replacement product to wound and wrongly specified resin-bonded cartridges.Containing no anti-static wetting agents, solvents or binders the Purtrex’s one-step manufacturing process continuously extrudes and thermally bonds pure polypropylene microfibers into a complex filter matrix. Micro-filaments plus precise fibre control maximizes the positive filtration characteristics of the graded density, tight cut-offs and maximum void areas with millions of tortuous paths.Material of Construction

The Dryden Aqua Air Diffuser is a semi-flexible, high-efficiency fine bubble air diffuser available in 9 different lengths, depending on the air through-put required . It provides oxygen transfer rates of up to 5kg/kw, 10m3/h of air and 1 kg of O2/h. Its semi-flexible construction with its own internal ballast will stay on the bottom of tank or pond without the need to be anchored to the floor.
The Dryden Aqua Air Diffuser combines excellent performance with cost effectiveness for aeration, oxidation and biological treatment.

Oxygen Transfer Performance
Surface aerators waste a huge amount of kinetic energy throwing the water into the air, transfer coefficient is 1 kg to 2 kg of oxygen per kW. Membrane diffusers are more efficient at 2 kg to 3 kg of oxygen per kW. The Dryden Aqua diffuser at over 5 kg is therefore the most efficient fine bubble diffuser available and is ideal for retrofit applications as a simple drop in product for tanks and ponds in Aquaculture and Waste Water Treatment.
The lowest cost spun-bonded cartridge in the PRISM range, the Value grade spun cartridge is ideally suited for batch processes where repeated change-out is required. With a graded density construction, this entry level cartridge is excellent at preventing premature blinding of other filtration systems further downstream.

This 85W UV unit with full WRAS approval is ideal for commercial and light industrial applications. They're great for multi-residency water treatment plants, building services and process water applications where the water quality is already pretty good, but there's either an existing bacteriological issue, or there's a high risk that needs safeguarding against.
As a quick summary, the difference between the systems are as follow:
Altima – Basic system. Essentially comes with an LED to show it’s turned on.
Proxima – Upgraded system. Comes with display, alarms and countdown timer.
Maxima – Fully loaded. Comes with extra UV sensor and temperature sensor functionality.
The thing to remember in all this is that the system will function exactly the same way regardless of the system you have. The controller will turn the UV lamp on and monitor it. The functionality of the Proxima and Maxima systems are for ease of use and monitoring purposes. If in doubt, go for the Proxima system, they’re the most popular.
As you can see from the table, they will treat up to 225l/min or 13.0m³/hour and are fine to be left turned on for long periods (during periods of shutdown for example) but care will be needed when flow resumes, the heated water in the reactor will be quite hot.
This system comes with everything you need to fit and run it for the whole first year and is WRAS approved. The next thing you'll need to buy for the system is the lamp replacement that it'll need after the first year of operation.
