CARE AND USE
The MW803 PRO Tester includes both a pH and EC electrode. Both need maintenance.
All pH sensors have a limited life and response time gets longer with age. Properly maintaining your pH pen tester will give you fast, accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee pH Maintenance Kit code PH-Main at checkout time! This will be needed to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use!
EC sensors are more robust but can still be affected by residue build up.
Here are our top four tips.
1. Always store with the cap full of buffer or storage solution MA9015 not water.
2. Clean your Tester regularly by soaking in cleaning solution MA9016.
3. Calibrate after cleaning and/or storage before testing to adjust for changes in the pH and EC sensor.
4. Gently stir the PRO Tester in the sample for a faster result.
5. Rinse in water after every test.

CONVERTING TDS TO EC
The Milwaukee TDS Pen, like all TDS meters, provides a measure of Total Dissolved Solids (ppm) reading, of contaminates per unit of volume in a solution.
TDS/PPM is often converted to uS/cm. Different scales include the 500 scale, 650 scale and the 700 scale.
Your TDS/PPM readings can be approximately converted to uS/cm as shown in the examples below.
1 ppm = 2 uS/cm on the 0.5 factor scale
1 ppm = 1.43 µS/cm on the 442 scale or .70 factor scale

The construction of this pure polypropylene, surfactant-free depth filter ensures low pressure drops, with exceptional dirt holding capabilities. FCPS1 uses no resin binders, lubricants, antistatic or release agents or other chemical additives. Aquafilter FCPS1 10" series cartridges are NSF certified using FDA approved polypropylene for material requirements. The construction of this pure polypropylene, surfactant-free depth filter ensures low pressure drops, with exceptional dirt holding capabilities. FCPS1 uses no resin binders, lubricants, antistatic or release agents or other chemical additives. The one-step manufacturing process continuously extrudes and thermally bonds pure polypropylene microfibres into a complex filter matrix. Cartridges are characterized by excellent sediment absorption of sand, silt, rust and suspended solids from potable water. Polypropylene fibers are chemical resistant and prevent development of microorganisms. In addition, these filter cartridges effectively protect expensive home appliances and residential pluming systems.
