The OxyGuard Standard Probe – the probe that revolutionised oxygen monitoring.The probe that you can purchase today is even better than the probe introduced in 1987 that helped revolutionize fish farming and make modern aquaculture the industry it is today. Today’s OxyGuard Standard Probe is hermetically sealed. If needed you can open it to replace the membrane and renovate it completely, but this should not be needed for many years.
DescriptionThe measurement stability of the OxyGuard Standard Probe is also very high indeed. A probe measuring in air will maintain accuracy even when subjected to a sudden 20 degree celcius temperature change. The sensitivity of a probe measuring in clean air at room temperature will remain the same for at least 3 years. This proves that the OxyGuard probe is not, like some other probes, affected by “ageing”. OxyGuard believe that the OxyGuard Standard probe is more accurate, needs less attention and maintenance and has a lower total cost of ownership than any other oxygen or dissolved oxygen probe offered to the aquaculture industry today. *Accessories are shipped with every OxyGuard probe. You will thus be able to change the membrane if you manage to damage it during installation. Otherwise the accessories can be enough for up to 5 years’ use.

The Wedeco - 6101276 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a four pin single end bulb that has wattage of 320 Watts. The ceramic germicidal lamp bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the bulb for better system performance.
With an amalgam four pin single end base, the germicidal water treatment bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and water purifiers. The UVC light technology is believed to sanitize and kill over 99.99% germs in the water and is most effective against bacteria, molds, virus, protozoa and yeast.
Researchers are of the opinion that UV water purification provides a safe solution as this method of sterilization is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, chemistry or taste of water. This method is both economic and environmental friendly and is a much better option to chemicals and their bi-products. People are of the opinion that this system provides a safe solution against microorganisms such as giardia and cryptosporidium, that are resistant to chlorine disinfection.
