Following successful field trials of a new micro bubble diffuser designed for the fish farming industry, Mantec has now launched an enhanced variant of the product into the market place under the brand CORALith. Building on our heritage of supplying more than 300,000 ceramic diffusers in the past 20 years, this new micro bubble diffuser introduces very small bubbles into the body of water, resulting in more surface area per unit volume and greater oxygen transfer exchange. In addition, agglomeration of bubbles as they rise to the surface is minimised.
Mantec has been active in the supply of ceramic diffusers into the aquaculture sector since the 1990s. In recent times, the sector is increasingly demanding diffusers which produce the finest bubbles to ensure adequate and efficient oxygenation of the water in which fish are farmed. The need for finer bubbles is grounded on maximising the oxygen transfer at greater water depths. With this in mind Sterner's new Mantec diffuser is based on a porous ceramic tube, having a closely controlled pore size of one micron. This results in even, fine bubbles to produce efficient oxygen transfer. Fitted with two square stainless steel end caps, the CORALith diffuser assembly can be positioned in the tank in any horizontal orientation, without the operator having to be concerned that the diffuser is sitting flat on the base of the tank. The diffuser assembly is designed with a replaceable ceramic tube.Furthermore, the diffuser has been designed to minimise any potential leak paths, thereby ensuring the efficiency of oxygen transfer. Thanks to its robust construction, the operator need not be concerned about removing the diffuser from the tank when the oxygen feed remains switched on. In addition, the hose tail coupling does not rely on push-fit connections, instead it is secured with a British Standard Pipe thread to provide a secure connection with the mating hose.
Because of Daro UV Systems’ expertise in ultraviolet light, the company have developed The Hand Inspection Cabinet using UVA, long wave UV light.
This product enables infection control officers or training establishments to demonstrate correct hand washing/scrubbing techniques. It will instantly highlight any defects and raises the awareness of potential hygiene problems.
The Hand Inspection Cabinet demonstrates the importance of hands being washed often and well, requiring the right technique and friction to reduce the risks of user infections and cross contamination
kit Includes:
1 x Hand Inspection Cabinet
1 x Carry case
1 x UV Indicator Lotion
Gray manual sorting cradle with curved screen.- Width: 50 cm- Length: 70 cm- Height: 40 cmThe grading cradle is priced without grid. The grading grid must be ordered separately.
The Dryden Aqua Air Diffuser is a semi-flexible, high-efficiency fine bubble air diffuser available in 9 different lengths, depending on the air through-put required . It provides oxygen transfer rates of up to 5kg/kw, 10m3/h of air and 1 kg of O2/h. Its semi-flexible construction with its own internal ballast will stay on the bottom of tank or pond without the need to be anchored to the floor.
The Dryden Aqua Air Diffuser combines excellent performance with cost effectiveness for aeration, oxidation and biological treatment.
Dryden Aqua Air Diffuser Key Features
Semi-flexible, tubular construction
Self weighted
Available in 9 lengths from 0.3 – 3m.
Air handling capacity from 1 – 10m3/hr
Less than 0.2 Bar (3 psi) pressure differential
Oxygen transfer efficiency up to 5 kg/kwhr
Resistant to calcification
Easy to clean and maintain
Robust and long-lasting (typical lifespan is 5 – 10 yrs)
Built in non-return valve
Stainless steel and plastic construction
Can be used with Air, N2, CO2
Oxygen Transfer Performance
Surface aerators waste a huge amount of kinetic energy throwing the water into the air, transfer coefficient is 1 kg to 2 kg of oxygen per kW. Membrane diffusers are more efficient at 2 kg to 3 kg of oxygen per kW. The Dryden Aqua diffuser at over 5 kg is therefore the most efficient fine bubble diffuser available and is ideal for retrofit applications as a simple drop in product for tanks and ponds in Aquaculture and Waste Water Treatment.

The filters are intended to purify water from sediment particles such as rust, sand, scale, silt, etc
Key Features
3 times higher capacity comparing to standard PP replacement filters
3 times higher rejection rates
Low losses of pressure
Stable operation even in case of water turbidity changes
Superior quality, saving costs and space
Specification
Dual gradient design allows creating two distinct filter zones. Larger particles(more than 20 micron) are trapped and filtered out in the first zone and the smaller particles (5 to 20 micron) are trapped in the second zone. It allows the cartridge to operate at higher velocities and lower pressure drop.
